I rant, therefore I am

Blame the HELL-ish week

I am a student activist. And a medicine student. A loud and proud follower of the parliament of the streets. Wala na ko dayon kinamatarong mag med aw?

Some people just take it too far. If one must be conservative before becoming a physician then they must place it as a test subject in NMAT. Or applicants must submit a certificate that read “I am no activist” or something like that before they get accepted. 

I passed the NMAT, the interview and all my first year blocks. Isn’t that enough to prove that I deserve to be here? If you want to say something rude siguraduha na superior gid imo learnings sang sa akon because of my political choice. 

We all have reasons why we see ourselves in medicine school. Some want the title and the status that comes with it. Some want to please their parents. Or gain money from people getting sick. If its competition, your goal or your grades that motivate you, I respect that. 

So please. Respetuhanay lang.
